Biography

FURQAN ZAHOOR (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, in 2014, the M.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from University Teknology PETRONAS, Malaysia, in 2022. From May 2017 to September 2018, he was an Assistant Professor on contractual basis with the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Technology, University of Kashmir. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Hardware and Embedded Systems Lab,  School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from July 2022 to August 2023. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced Materials, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include multiple valued logic (MVL), resistive random access memory (RRAM) devices, hardware security primitives, neuromorphic computing, and probabilistic computing.
